What a year 2021 has been for Afrocats - and we announce our new impact report

This year, the effects of the pandemic are still being felt, but we have continued to provide opportunities for the isolated and vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers we work with to develop skills, improve their wellbeing, and connect with others.

Today we are launching our 2021 impact report, and it has been incredible to reflect on what is possible to accomplish as a small charity - we have seen both our services and work grow, leading us to win a Manchester Cultural Award for Cultural Care in COVID.

We've also experienced a huge swell of support from volunteers, participants, freelancers and funders, and our partnerships have strengthened our offer and helped people who have had a tough time make a better life for themselves.

Enjoy reading our report, and keep your eyes peeled for exciting projects and commissions in 2022.

Many thanks for all of your support - we wouldn't be here without you.
